Christmas market

Hello everybody!

Christmas is coming and La Roue Tourne is organising an event in Saint André des Eaux on the 20th of December. Local artcraft, local food and entertainments for all ages.
Everybody is most welcome.
All the funds will be given for the children of Tié in Bobodioulasso in Burkina Faso.

The main project of "la roue tourne" with the street kids organnisation is to build a center , because they still haven't got them own place, so, them efforts are always a bit fragile. LRT bought a piece of land 2 years ago 450 M2, and started building last winter.With the polio victims, the main project now, would be to organize a tour around the country for them to sing the message they want to give to the other handicaped people in Burkina, and to set up an other workshop, still in the goal of being auto suffisant...

les papillonades

The festival "Les papillonnades" happens usually on the first week end of june in the beautifull village of St Andre des Eaux in Brittany. It's a outdoor event on the side of a beautifull lake. The party last for 3 days, and start every afternoon by a lot of activities for the childrens (Theatre, story tellings, informations about what's going on in Burkina...). Every night, 4 bands play in a circus tent, and the benefits of those evennings are the main way of raising money for the organisation.

sonas ireland

The Sonas Festival is a world cultures event in Galway (sonasinsalthill.com). In this town a lot of different nationalities arrived from all around the world, and the idea was that they could, during this day, show their culture. For that, we had a big stage for the live music, a craft market, a food market and even a mini soccer worldcup. All day long, some volunteers were walking around the park with some pockets to collect the donations. On this event, the benefits were shared between 3 differents charities.
